There’s generally not much of a line when I go but if I do have to wait, I’m waiting in line to not have to not talk to anyone when I’ve only got a few things. Also self checkout is never more crowded than staffed checkout from my experience.

I only use self checkout. But I also used to be a cashier so I’m pretty fast at it.
