    1. This song’s been on repeat for me today. It’s so damn good. It’s genuinely my favorite release of the year. I kind of wish she led the era with this track!

I wish I could say the same. Nothing about the song is sticking with me.

I watched the MV today and the beginning of the song reminded me of the beginning of another song, but I just couldn’t place it. I thought about it for hours.

Then I figured it out… Foo Fighters Everlong.

I think it’s a solid song. It’s sounds like it’s the thesis of the record and I think she should have led with the cure. For some reason I thought she said this was an experimental record for her so I’m wondering what she was experimenting with. The two so far sound like they could have been on her previous records.

It’s better than drop dead, but that’s not saying much bc the song was grating and hard to listen to. This one is pretty boring and forgettable, and despite the glazing that I’ve seen, the lyrics aren’t amazing or mature, and it’s def not her best song when she’s had better ones likes Déjà vu, lacy, all American bitch and love is embarrassing. I wonder if there are better songs on her album, bc the direction doesn’t sound that good so far. I’m not sure if she just doesn’t suit pop as much as pop rock

I think I’m going to have to wait to hear everything in the context of the album because while I don’t think this song and Drop Dead are bad songs, I didn’t really enjoy them either.
