It’s not a groundbreaking statement by any means, but given the way the Internet can react to men saying stuff like it, I appreciate his willingness to say it. I’m guessing many actors of his age and experience wouldn’t risk the backlash from a certain type of commentator.

Nice sentiment, but not what the show tried to do. I get you try to paint your show deeper than what it actually is but this is drastically trying to make a “sexy” romance way deeper than it is.
Ref hockey player characters, I don’t want “listening and supporting” I want hardcore actions like “not laughing at women in the locker room” kay thanks.

Which is funny cause the show had to wokefy the fuck out of those characters. They’re pigs in the books, and lesbophobes too for some reason.
