      Lol at me not even getting the scene when I watched it. I thought they went out to talk and my focus shifted to the close up of the Deep and Whatshisname. Completely missed he flew him into space 💀

      Makes the whole final battle even more ridiculous though. He can fly to space in seconds but can’t manage to get away from 3 sups at the light of speed.

      I really fucked with the last episode, it ticked ALL my boxes of stuff I wanted to happen before the end, but getting Elon into throwing a temper tantrum out in public because (speculation here lol) he identified with Homelander and felt humiliated by the end……. Wow. Just wow. My heart is full.

      The MAGATs see Homelander as a hero even though he is a horrible, cruel and selfish monster. All they care about is that he is powerful and he wields that power to “make them pay”. They desperately want a dictator to tell them why they are miserable and scared and to provide a scapegoat who can be punished. They say they want a war but what they really want is to pull the wings off of butterflies and gloat about how strong and powerful they are.

      It’s funny/enraging to remember that the people in charge are *always* the most insecure, thin-skinned, least cool losers in existence. Always. They have the most money, but they’re the biggest turds.

      Yet we have to endure the daily meltdowns and awful opinions of tech moguls daily. Why can’t Elon Musk just shut the fuck up and enjoy their billions? Why is he even commenting on a show he does not watch or why should his opinion about it matter?

      And by the way, I did follow the show for 5 seasons and I though the finale was acceptable but lost a lot of focus because Kripke did not know what he was satirizing anymore (superhero tropes vs capitalism vs MAGA). However, I suffered through the endings of HIMYM and Umbrella Academy and after those I can say it was underwhelming but not a bad ending.
