Makes sense, seeing as it was the only returnee season since season 40 (the one mentioned 6 years ago in the article) and the first live finale since season 39 in that same year
To be fair it was also the only live finale in six years which should generate some buzz. Survivor does need to figure out its audience. Commercials for old folks, randomly using Billie Eilish’s name, having Mr Beast smile and laugh for half an episode. It’s all over. I don’t know what point I’m trying to make I just like Survivor.
