😭😭😭 but holy shit I can’t wait to binge watch it all at once over one weekend when the sixth season wraps. I started watching this show when I was studying abroad in Paris so I’ll always have a soft spot for it

This was one of those shows that I feel people loved to say was so bad and said it was “a hate watch,” but like: was it?
From the early marketing that made her look like a stupid American in Paris, you soon find out watching it that she is the only one with a clue at the agency she is at; to me, it was nice to see a capable woman in her career, whose mistakes really stemmed from not knowing what she wanted in her personal life. They don’t really do those shows anymore. If anything, they try to show how a woman is really bad at her job and is clueless in the corporate sphere, which she wasn’t.
Plus, it was nice to see a show where Paris was definitely a character in it; much more than you would have seen in, like, Gossip Girl, where they are in New York but not really in New York, despite filming in New York.
I also think I met so many people that just “refused to watch” it because they immediately thought it was terrible, without seeing it, which made me enjoy it even more. When I feel like someone disregards something because it’s not “indie enough” or they think they know what it is, it makes me realize how sad it is that people get too caught up in their preconceived notions of themselves and what is “highbrow” to just enjoy it.
Anyways, it makes sense it’s ending. It was time, but I will actually miss it as the fun romp and basically the only Netflix series I actually stayed up to date with.

It’s trash but I’ve watched all seasons and will watch the final season . It’s one of those breezy no stress shows that will always have an audience.

I don’t know why people whine about this show so much. Its easily avoidable if you don’t want to watch it 🤷♀️
It’s a fun show- it’s good for they have an end to plan for, it will make for a better season
