    1. Starting the episode with Frenchie’s testament referencing the characters’ assholes was a very poor choice.

The final season was a little bit of a rollercoaster, but the finale was solid

    3. The final season was disappointing undoubtedly.

But I am also baffled by some people here trying to equate it on the same level of downfall as Game of Thrones Season 8. That shit was an absolute disaster that wrecked an S tier show.

I have not seen the show and have no opinions about it, but this article is wildly overwritten.

“As I wrote in my season two review of Gen V—an all-around brilliant show whose cancellation I’m now revving the engine of my proverbial motorcycle extra hard to at its casket, having witnessed its potential sent to the Fargo wood chipper this season—most of the jokes in The Boys inevitably end in a flurry of swears like a 12-year-old who discovered cursing as conversational punctuation marks or someone remarking about someone else being a sex pest.”

That’s one sentence, and I barely followed it.

Dunno what people expected? Everyone got what they deserved and it was as stupid and at the same time as true to life as the rest of it.

    6. I feel like I may be the only one that liked all of this season. Not saying it was my favorite or that there was thing I wished happened, but definitely enjoyed it. But I can’t fight someone else’s opinion.

    7. Disappointing season but I blame Amazon, not anyone working on the show. Wouldn’t surprise me if season 5 had the same budget as season 1, while at the same time the cast probably had 5-10x higher salaries.

Action scenes and big set pieces were god awful this season. Amazon didn’t give them much to work with. It looked cheap.

I kinda feel that season 5 was a solid D most of the time, but the finale was a solid B-. It was *fine*. At least most of the resolutions made some sort of logical sense.

GOT was a solid F- for the finale.
