I for one am all up for lower budget Star Wars movies, and movies in general. 200-300 million a movie is just not sustainable. I hope more little Star Wars movies like this get made. Not every movie needs some galaxy saving stakes.

We watched the first 10 minutes of the movie on Fortnite yesterday as a teaser trailer. It looks good with some fun comedy bits.
Actually kinda excited to see this one.

I interpreted this like the Star Trek movie taking place in San Francisco and got excited for a minute

Star Wars movies usually have lavish scenery because it’s shot on real desert or island locations, depending on the planet. Of course, sets have always played a part as well, and I get the Mando tv show used sets/tech for budgetary reasons, etc. However, it’s kind of disappointing that they never left LA.

Totally unrelated, but it’s also the first Star Wars movie that I have zero desire to see.
There is such thing as too much. Disney overdid it. I’m no longer a fan.
