Hi r/movies, I'm Katie Aselton, writer/director/and star of the upcoming drama MAGIC HOUR. The film premiered at SXSW and is now out in theaters this coming weekend via Greenwich Entertainment. Co-written with my husband, Mark Duplass, and starring the fantastic Daveed Diggs, the film is a true labor of love and I can't wait for you to check it out!
You may recognize me from my previous work on THE PUFFY CHAIR and FX comedy series, THE LEAGUE among others ((THE FREEBIE, SYNCHRONIC, SHE DIES TOMORROW, THE GIFT, OLD DADS). MAGIC HOUR is my fourth feature as a director.

I loved you as Amy in Legion and I was so disappointed that you didn’t play a bigger role after season 1. Was that always the plan?
Is Jason Mantzoukas as big a chaos goblin in reality as he seems in The League, and virtually everything else I’ve seen him in?
How much of each episode of The League was ad-libbed, and how many takes did it usually take to get everything down that you needed for a given scene?
How did it feel to be transformed into Aubrey Plaza in Legion?
