Around the 25-second mark, Rutger Hauer kind of vigilantly slides into frame, eyes alert to the possibility of any new threats.

Then a bad guy raises his weapon and a little bit of funky music plays, accentuating the rise in tension.

Why don’t they do that more often these days? It is very comforting and old-fashioned.

I don’t know why but that was hilarious. 

That dudes death at 0:15 gets me every time! It’s like watching Richard Pryor get slashed across the chest!

Great movie, but I’ve never understood why he uses the “ice pick” grip technique. It offers no tactical advantage whatsoever. Skallagrim would back me up on that, and so would Shad of Shadiversity.

It really was all downhill from there, huh?

Watched this movie over and over when I was in middle school.

I like how the one in the coat never drops his blunt. Bruh, you brought guns to the knife fight and *you’re losing*. Spit that out. 😂
