Harry Styles’ Tour Rep Responds to Fan Complaints About Poor Sightlines on ‘Together Together’ Tour: ‘Those Areas Are Being Reviewed Carefully and Adjusted Where Possible’
> “The floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions, rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle. That open, free-flowing floor experience has always been an essential part of Harry’s live shows. A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had a restricted sightline. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions.”

Are the bots that have been spamming this on every single post, comment and video going stop now or no? There is definitely something odd going on recently.

oh wow an artist and their team taking constructive crticism from fans? that’s actually good, kudos to them.

I understood this tour to be more like a short residency for each stop. You’d think they would’ve had thought this out better.

I feel bad for the fans whose first night was ruined by the crap view. Hopefully they still managed to have fun! I also hope they can get a partial refund, but that probably ain’t happening.

I just find it really bizarre that they conceptualized a tour with that sort of stage and didn’t realize that people cannot see the show are various times. This is not some teeny tiny local mom and pop show. That means there were failures within multiple levels of people involved with bringing the show to life.

How did he think it was going to work? Did he do no practice runs with the stage?

I was impressed they were able to lower the catwalk(s) part of the stage so quickly tbh.

I came over because I read the reason for the design: to give fans on the floor the ability to move around and see the concert from different perspectives.
The brief seems to have been to make it feel like a festival, but this design team is too removed from concert reality. People really camp out for floor spots, and I think the chance of a concertgoer leaving your secured spot to see the show from a different one is low.
Also, noting what others are saying, even if people did want to move around, it would likely create a safety hazard. I think this is classic, the planning team being too removed from understanding what the average concertgoer experience is.

Honest question, but did people make this complaint about Billie’s last tour? If this is just about the floor, if you were on one end, you obviously couldn’t see her when she was on the other end. Or is this just an *exceptionally* bad view?
This is kind of how a lot of shows go; when the artist is near you, you’re super close, and it’s worth it, but half of the show you don’t have a particularly good view.
I saw Twice multiple times, and you can really only get a good look at 2-4 of them at a time; they’re just always rotating around so everyone covers the whole crowd.

it feels like this should have been something tested before the first show. the views were abysmal and he didn’t do anything beyond run across the extra stages.
at least when twice had their big ass stage, they performed on every section

I’m surprised I didn’t hear more about this for Gaga’s Mayhem tour. The sightlines were god awful and the sound gear was hanging right in front for seriously almost half the stadium.
I love Gaga but…never again. I was sooooo sad.
Her concept and show was incredible- for people who could see it.
