      Ah yes, the restaurant based on exploiting gluttony trying to shame others for being greedy. Isn’t that something.

      A former shopping strip here got knocked down and replaced with luxury apartments. We were confused on how McDonald’s said the lease was too high.

      A local diner with decades of history just closed down because they don’t want to up their prices to afford the new lease.

      The amount of greed and demand for more money is hurting many.

      I mean this as a genuine question, what exactly was the “soul” of Las Vegas before? Bc I’ve always thought of it consumerism as the defining feature of Vegas, am I wrong in that?

      it’s been corporate greed before the owner of that restaurant was born. Its nothing new, sadly

      I am surprised it lasted so long. The owner seemed like a performance artist and very theatrical and the concept was definitely interesting, but I feel like in the age of Ozempic it’s not profitable.

      It is funny because they only served burgers, shakes, and fries made with lard so their “vegan menu” was just unfiltered cigarettes.
