This film has been mentioned multiple times here, but the most recent post was 2 years ago, so I wanna bring this amazing movie back up.
It's a Black and white indie horror film made in 1989 in Japan. It uses stop motion and an amazing OST to create an experience unlike any other film I've ever watched.
Fun fact this film was made on a budget of only around $100,000 and the process was so long and grueling that the entire production crew quit mid-filming and by the end, only the lead actor, and the director himself were left to finish the film.

I LOVE Tetsuo. I rewatch it once a year, at least.
If David Lynch and David Cronenberg co-directed a Tool music video.
It rips.
Scorsese loves this movie.
Watched this while very hungover, wasn’t the best idea but I feel like it added to the overall experience 🙃

Edit: my mistake, the footage in this clip is from TETSUO II: BODY HAMMER
I remember watching this back in 1994. It left quite an impression on me.
Valve intros are a tribute to Tetsuo, both the visuals and the music

They should make a reboot
And have it star Robert Downy Jr!
Found out about this movie while watching a fan made video of Portishead’s Machine Gun, really love how they fit.
