Masterpiece honestly. Such a perfect fun sci-fi flick. Great cast, great sets, great script, great practical effects, great soundtrack.

Vincent D’Onofrio took a big swing playing the role this way, and his instincts were so on-point. He had an interview recently where he talked about doing his first take on MIB and the director, Barry Sonnenfeld, approached and asked him: “Is that how you’re going to do it?” And Vincent just committed to it. Good on Barry for trusting him; It paid off. I think his performance is pitch perfect and elevates the material.
