In march, I watched blow out, grease and Saturday night fever in the same week and came to the conclusion that John Travolta is just an amazing screen presence. A true movie star. His performance as Vince Vega is also an all timer.

I’ll tell you one thing: my estimation of John Travolta as a man just fuckin’ plummeted.

His evolution appearance wise is hilarious. He looks like a brand new person every few years.

Hw looks rough in the thumbnail but he doesn’t look bad at all in the actual video. He’s just got an odd beard.

It’s a very rare movie star (Harrison ford) who gets past tahta he and still looks amazing. Travoltas 72 and ford is 82.

We gotta stop sending John Travolta and Jim Carrey to France; they don’t come back the same haha

    6. John Travolta is a rare kind of movie star who would have been a success regardless of what decade you dropped them into.

Not many actors can do what either Gene Kelly or Marlon Brando could do. Travolta could do both.

His personal life aside, I have always respected Travolta as an actor. He does some movies to make money, but he takes some REALLY big swings when he believes in a project and strikes me as a genuinely brave performer who refuses to be typecast.

I don’t think the movie’s great, but for all the flack it got I kinda adore his performance in The Fanatic, for a recent example. The man was obviously very deep into the role and really went for a big chatacter in a way you don’t normally see outside of comedic actors. The rest of the movie may not hold up, but I’ll be dammed if Moose isn’t a realized character, and it’s impossible to be bored while he’s on screen.

TL/DR thanks for a career of really swinging for the fences Travolta. You earned this.
