I started writing this in 2021 after getting my brain completely cooked daytrading stocks and crypto. It’s kind of like Freddy Got Fingered meets Uncut Gems. It’s very much inspired by Reddit and Wallstreetbets specifically.
Spent the last 4 years making it with friends while having many panic attacks. Somehow it premiered at SXSW in 2025 and just released digitally this week.
We are a small but mighty indie fighting for relevance. Please don’t hate me. Happy to answer any questions that aren’t related to scam meme coins.

Looks very cool. Dark Star seems to release a lot of their films physically via OCN/Vinegar Syndrome. Is that something that might be in the works for your film?
