      One thing that I always loved about The Wire is the complexity that they gave each character.

      I think it might be one of the most fleshed out shows of all time from both a plot and character perspective.

      This scene is so fascinating. I’m a big fan of how Dominic West plays Jimmy being lost in guilt.

      You have to wonder on some level if it’s sheer ego catching up to him. And that the game has a consequence to it.

      And then Rawls having to snap him out of it. It’s a pretty human moment between two people.

    3. I’m not ashamed to say that Rawls is a top 5 character on the wire for me. He’s obviously an asshole, but I don’t find him to be a hack like Burrell. He’s incredibly shrewd and knows his stuff.
