Not the first time KAN have made insulting and derogatory comments towards artists and other countries competing in Eurovision.
Last year KAN had to issue an apology for comments made after Armenia’s performance. “I can’t believe we gave ‘these’ guys an entire quarter in Jerusalem… Survivor — that’s how we feel after watching this song.”
Not to mention the many offensive comments made towards artists during the 2024 contest.

Firstly, valid, of course. The KAN and the Israeli delegation behave… well exactly like you’d expect people who are actively committing genocide to behave.
But also, like… yes babes we aren’t boycotting the festival for funsies. Isreal is paying to use the festival for their propaganda and everyone not fitting into their ideology is going to get hurt, that’s how that works. I don’t mean to victim shame but what are you even doing there 😭
