Aside from the Lupin the Third movies and shows, he was also notable for composing the 1977 crime thriller “Proof of the Man”. He also created several original jazz albums such as ‘Space Kid’ and ‘Cosmos’.
It can’t be overstated how important he was to the Lupin the Third franchise. He basically created it’s musical identity. RIP.

I’ve always heard amazing things about Lupin the Third. Damn. His jazz soundtracks were the blueprint for so many amazing anime scores that came after. Cowboy Bebop wouldn’t sound the same without his influence.
