Incredible film, and while I rarely give a shit about awards, I was genuinely pissed this didn’t win some. The writing, the direction, and especially the acting are all absolute hurricanes of technical skill and raw emotion.
I could write a million words praising it and probably still find more things to compliment, it’s that goddamn good.
That line hit me pretty hard just now “ I used to be a brother but now I’m not”

I saw this at a pretty packed theater and it’s the only time I’ve ever heard a significant amount of the audience audibly crying (at the River Styx scene with the younger brother). I’ve only cried at a handful of movies but that scene in particular had me absolutely dead to rights.
