I liked the first season a fair bit and Bomer is a fun actor. Could be an interesting role for him as a villain.

Season 1 was pretty fucking dope. I really liked the different “bespoke” rifles that he used. The fucking suitcase gun was one of the most well designed hidden rifles I have ever seen in a fucking movie or TV Show. [Heres a clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWsfxnY459o)

Season 1 is my personal definition of a sleeper hit. My dad recommended it to me, I normally brush his recommendations off (he’s the worlds #1 Yellowstone fan), but i gave Jackal a chance. Holy shit it’s phenomenal, i wish it were a mini-series though to smooth out some of the pacing issues.

I enjoyed the first season but I’m still ticked off about how they resolved a cliffhanger.
One of the episode ended with the Jackal in a speedboat being chased by several police boats through the bay of some Mediterranean city.
I immediately clicked to the next episode to see the resolution. It started with him behind the driver’s seat of a car flying down a narrow road in that city.
They never showed how he escaped the police boats!
Always thought the writers wrote themselves into a corner there, so they just cut to him in a car to make his escape easier.
