The movie is based on the true story of the Christie’s mysterious disappearance.
**Synopsis:**
> “In December 1926, at the height of her fame, Agatha Christie became front-page news when she vanished in bizarre circumstances from her home. In a case of life imitating art, this whodunnit explores the investigation behind her disappearance, strangely resembling an Agatha Christie novel itself where everyone in her life became a suspect.”

Felicity Jones as Agatha Christie is genuinely inspired casting. She has that quiet intensity that Christie must have had — you don’t write 66 detective novels without some serious inner steel. The 11-day disappearance story is one of history’s most fascinating unsolved mysteries and honestly Hollywood has never done it full justice. This could be the one. Rooting hard for this.

Felicity Jones might be one of the absolute worst major actresses out there. She is awful in everything I’ve seen her in. I genuinely think she gets a pass from some people because of her English accent.

Surely Vincent Cassel isn’t playing the Doctor in this one? I mean, not a British is one thing, but a Frenchman?

Felicity Jones as Agatha Christie is a pretty good casting she has that clever elegant vibe that fits the mystery queen perfectly.
