just reminds me of how fucking boring the dialogue and delivery is in all lynch films. holy fuck. just talk, please… i wonder if he told the actors to breathe 3 times, in and out, before every word or if the actors were all just on xanax.
I feel like whenever the actors and directors visit the criterion closet, they almost always pick out this movie as one of their favorites.
Unlike any other ‘teen’ movie of the 80’s, like only Lynch could make it. Two innocents learning about the darkness that lurks in the world, but still trying to hold onto the light.

or in Silent Hill. the dialog in those games has always reminded me of Lynch.
