Not really?

It’s a great book, people devolve into animals in a lawless place but these are children, they aren’t grown ups, these boys are from a time of education, the men they would grow up to be would be full of possibilities. 

Our education system is broken, there’s no one leaving our school system with an single idea of what they actually want to do and how to get there. 

You can compare things to anything and sound smart, I hate people who use a book that old and still try and find biblical meanings from it. 

Humans are humans it’s true, we’re governed by our most basic instincts but there’s way more than that in our current playbook, there’s real misery, depression and anger, topics the book didn’t touch on, we’re not at war with an opposing faction, we’re at war with ourselves because we refuse to admit there’s a problem with the very nature of who we are, society plays a huge role in that.
