    1. I just recently watched this again for the first time in a long time. Had a smile across my face the entire time. This movie will hold up till the end of time. Great action. Feel good plot. One liner after one liner after one liner.

      Just amazing through and through.

80s fantasy movies were a hell of a vibe in cinema.

And that’s because they had directors behind them that were, and are, still among the greats of recent memory.

The Dark Crystal (Jim Henson), Labyrinth (also Jim Henson), Excalibur (Jim Boorman), Legend (Ridley Scott), The Neverending Story (Wolfgang Petersen), Ladyhawke (Richard Donner), Highlander (Russell Mulcahy), The Princess Bride (Rob Reiner), Krull (Peter Yates), Conan the Barbarian (John Milius), Time Bandits (Terry Gilliam), The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (also Terry Gilliam)…

Willow’s just top tier for me, and has not ceased to be.

I feel like I’m one of the few ppl who enjoys the TV series. I’ve been thinking about revisiting that actually.

Greatest movie ever. As a project, I took the original sound off this scene and put my own in (audio recording school). Most fun I had doing school work!

I grew up watching this ,it was my favorite movie for decades, until Lord of the Rings came out. Some of the special effects doesn’t really hold out, but still a favorite.

It’s based on a trilogy of books and too bad the tv series didn’t do well. I thought it was pretty decent and I think Disney should revisit it, maybe follow the book’s more closely instead of playing it so political and safe

My favorite thing about this movie is that every actor thinks they’re in a different movie:
      – Warwick Davis is in Lord of the Rings
      – Kilmer is in Indiana Jones
      – Kevin Pollack is in Porkys
      – Jean Marsh is in Hellraiser
      – Joanne Walley is in Fourth Wing
