I like how the inn owner had his own personal 1408 experience off-screen.
I haven’t seen it yet, but parks and rec meets twin peaks is a wildly attractive comparison. Seems like it would have a hard time living up to that.

Watched both episodes last week. It’s funny and pretty scary! It gave us Jaws vibes as well. I’ll absolutely keep watching. Not as creepy as twin peaks, but the town’s people really do remind me of Pawnee citizens from Parks and Rec.
We loved it. Parts funny and parts jump scare.
After watching Matthew Rhys in The Beast In Me, I was excited to see this show. One episode in and I am not hooked. (My wife and I switched over to Bad Mistakes on Netflix after this and ended up watching three episodes.)
At the beginning when he’s going through the “Wolves” calendar and one of the photos is simply an upsidedown vehicle car crash I laughed. Sold me on the show.
