The Four Seasons | Season 2 Official Trailer

I enjoyed this show for what it was, but I really don’t know why it needs to be a multi season TV show… It felt like a 2 hour movie that was stretched into 8 episodes.

Maybe it’s the way this is edited, but nothing in this trailer made me want to watch this. What’s the narrative? What’s the hook? Why should I care about this? Because it’s people I know?

I never saw the first season, so it’s possible they are banking on my emotional attachment to these characters, but I felt like I saw funny people on screen not be funny for 2 minutes, and nothing happened.

I randomly stumbled upon the first season while browsing Netflix a few months ago, and was flabbergasted that I’d never heard of it, especially with that all-star cast. I thought the first season was going to be a one-and-done, but was surprised that it got a second season. I’ll watch, but I’m not expecting it to be better than the first.
