I read the Stephen King short story this was based on that was part of the same anthology(Skeleton Crew) that featured The Mist, never knew it was adapted into a movie. Still waiting for someone to do the Jaunt.

This one creeped us the hell out. A friend of mine had a pond on his property that looked a lot like this, right down to the little floating dock in the middle of it. We watched this and it was MONTHS before we could go back to that pond…
