Holy *shit*, this looks amazing. Still wish it starred a rookie Leon, but Zach gets the property far more than Paul WS ever has. Hope it works.

I’ve never played a *Resident Evil* game nor have I seen the movies, but Zach Cregger has become one of the strongest voices in modern horror.
Idk. I’m underwhelmed. This doesn’t feel like Resident Evil to me.
I never played the games but I’ve noticed the discourse from the fanbase online since Cregger said it would be an original story almost feels hostile. It’s exactly what’s needed to right the wrongs of probably….every movie before it 😅

I’m actually glad it’s not a reboot again and have a somewhat original story in the same universe.

Doesn’t look like Resident Evil, but I honestly don’t care. Like, we get so many bad game to movie adaptations but with this at least you know Zach is going to make some crazy enjoyable bonkers of a movie.
Never thought a guy from Whitest Kids U Know has become a successful horror director and directing Resident Evil
This looks incredible. I can see a lot of influence in the game mechanics – needing keys, having a “stalker” monster, being in a creepy house/neighborhood location. This is going to be slick.
