    1. What an omnishambles. The article says that those working on the movie got about 1/3 of what they were owed, while Simon got nothing as actor or executive producer.

      Btw, when I show up in these threads talking shit about how “movies can’t be art,” this is exactly what I mean. You can’t call it art if you had to work with a financier to make it. It might be pretty cool, whatever it is, but it ain’t art.

      This sounds like it’s on the production company tbh. Didn’t even have money to pay for the IP but started turning the gears of the production? That’s crazy.
