The art style and soundtrack were insane, like Blade Runner for kids’ TV. It deserved multiple seasons. Honestly, Disney+ should push it on the front page for a month.
I quite enjoyed Uprising, but since it is a prequel to Legacy you know from the beginning that the conflict presented in the show would never get resolved. Maybe they would have eventually dove into the origin of the ISOs. The show was cancelled after one season, but it’s worth while for the visuals and soundtrack.
I enjoyed the show in general, but thought the animation style was ugly, looks only slightly better than What If? and Marvel Zombies to me.
That’s wild. I’d never seen the original and had no idea it came out easily a decade before it would have been possible, but I would’ve sworn that the stilted and atonal quality of the voiceover meant it was AI slop.
As a lifelong (45) TRON fan, I was HYPED for this show. I love both films and was pumped for this. The fact that we only got one season was painful to me. The fact that they got both Bruce Boxleitner back for TRON and Elijah Wood for Beck was wild to me. Also, my desktop hard drive is named Tron City and my portable drive is named Argon City. lol.
