Sweet Caroline!
You know what would be even better than another Ted movie? Season 4 of The Orville.

“It really is up to to Peacock with their, you know, vast amounts of big Scrooge McDuck money that they dive into every day,” said MacFarlane, who has said in the past that he’s not sure Peacock will want to bankroll another season of the series. “I think all of us, in some form or another, whether it’s a Season 3 of Ted or a direct-to-Peacock feature with this cast, is something I think we’d all be up for. It’s all on the table.”
You know what he and Peacock need to be saving their money for? Ensuring that Dungeon Crawler Carl doesn’t suck.
Don’t give me hope…..
Wasn’t Ted already a movie?
If Peacock backs up the money bin, I’d rather see a tight 6-episode Season 3 than a movie. Ted’s jokes land better with the “hangout” pacing anyway.
Ted is a decent show, but let’s not overrate it too much. A lot of the scenes don’t even make sense, and the ones that do end with an out of place joke from Ted.
Example: The family is talking about TV. In the final seconds Ted will say, “Hey Johnny, you think the guy who wrote the play The Nutcracker liked to masturbate a lot?” And then they’ll cut to the next scene.
The thing with Seth Macfarlane projects is if he’s not 100% passionate about it and fully involved they suck. So if putting off the Orville season 4 while he puts all his effort into another great season of Ted is the way he wants to go, then im all for it.
