Thought this was going to be a stinker, but I was wrong! I might even like this more than Drag Me to Hell! The trailer really downplayed any of the Raimi-isms, so I was thinking the studio might have told him to tone it down, but that wasn’t the case. Especially with how mediocre the last Evil Dead film he produced was, I thought he lost his bite.
