I think it’s pretty cool that they’re willing to try something new with a comic adaptation. Comic books are way more than dudes in capes punching each other and I hope we see more genre movies that don’t feel tied down to the whole super hero thing.

Gunns got his horror background so I am actually curious if horror comic book movies might become a real thing. If its good and does well we might see a lot more horror comic book movies.
