  1. Just watched this last night for a 10th time. So wild that the script carried the entire film so well and then the sequel totally failed.

  2. Great scene, stellar movie. But please, maybe not post clip in potatovision? Thanks

  3. Man they shot an entire movie with just a cabin, a few good actors, and a great script and it’s just a masterpiece.

You can find this movie for free on YouTube. I think it might be on Amazon as well. I know the sequel is. They really scooped up all the Star Trek character actors for this one.

Like the idea of it but recently watched and it was awful. ‘yea uh I knew every famous person ever, uhhh yea actually I’m Jesus and like you’re my son okay?’

I’ve never seen this film. Is it just me or is the blocking in that scene really awkward?

I think it’s so funny how many people I see loving this movie.

My friends and I watched it recently, and we laughed and groaned the whole way through. I did not find it as profound or exciting as the friend who showed it to us found it. as this scene was ramping up, all of us at the same time groaned and realized “oh fucking christ he’s gonna be jesus isn’t he”.

but, I don’t wanna take away from anybody who likes it. I merely am curious to what makes me think it’s kinda silly and what makes people connect with it so intensely? background? Where you grew up? Vibes?

This is a great movie to have on in the background on all sorts of drugs

William Katt looks like he’s an aging musician who had minor fame in the late 70s.

  10. This movie has a really interesting premise and decent writing, but some of the actors are underwhelming and deliver their lines poorly. Feels like a mix between a student film and a C tier movie.

This movie would be better without this part. Up to this point it was just a random everyman who happens to be immortal revealing his life and then suddenly he is a creator of one of the biggest religions.
