I think Duncan Jones has only done 1 or 2 solid films. Moon and Source Code really.
Warcraft was bland as was Mute. Even though Mute had a cool concept and atmosphere, just doesn’t stick the landing.

Been reading 2000AD since the beginning, and was quietly optimistic for this, given the great voice talents attached. I really enjoyed Moon, by Duncan Jones, but this… ummmm, this ain’t Rogue.

I’m hoping it’s good cause I root for Duncan Jones. Moon was fantastic. He got stuck in the mud with Warcraft, and Mute was disasterous misfire.
Seems like he went straight to director jail afterwards and it’s been 8 years since his last movie came out.
IMHO these looks like at best an episode of Secret Level/LoveDeathRobots, hopefully it’s on par with some of that visually at least.
