Actor Kenneth Mitchell passed away two years ago. I'm either just learning or forgot and learning again. Either way, this makes me very sad. Here's his Wikipedia page.)

I mostly know him as Eric Green, a central character on Jericho (2006-08).
He was apparently also in The Recruit (2003) and Captain Marvel (2019).
I don't remember him being in these two movies.
He played different characters across Star Trek: Discovery's first 3 seasons.
He also voiced a character in one episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks.

According to Wikipedia, he passed from ALS.
Does anyone have fond memories of this guy from a show or film?
For me, he'll always be Eric Green from Jericho.

Yeah, I was a huge Jericho fan and always held hope they would make a revival someday. His death was a gut punch.

  2. He’s also Eric Green first for me, Jericho is such an underrated show. Sad to hear of his passing

I really respect how Star Trek found a place for him near the end of his life. After he lost the ability to walk, Discovery wrote a wheelchair-bound character for him, and interesting one, a morally grey villain who’s mostly just trying to get by. You mention he was a Lower Decks voice too – the day he recorded his voice work for Veritas was apparently the last day he was able to speak without machine assistance.

  4. His last role in Star Trek Discovery was an evil scientist who wanted to reproduce the spore drive. He was in a floating chair because that’s how far along he was.
