Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

That’s insane to be that far away from earth
It’s honestly incredible.
A vertical video, though?

This gives me chills!!
Jeeze that moon seriously needs some salicylic acid.

That’s amazing and beautiful, but also stresses me out
“That’s AI” – the absolute dumbest person you’ll see on the internet

You mean to tell me it’s not flat?🤨
This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
I just said ‘wowwwwwww’ out loud.
Why was the phone mentioned?
Congetas everyone we’re already getting ads from space
Even in reverse I still havn’t seen the green flash.
That is so fucking awesome!
The “Dude…..no way…” is perfect.
This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever watched
For once, the moon looks good on a cell phone picture 😅
Earthset, I didn’t even know the word existed
Is it like a gay sunset on the beach and everyone cheers then do like … other stuff?
That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar,” every “supreme leader,” every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there–on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

wonder what his maps location looked like

I wonder what alien structures and UAP/UFO’s they seen when they cut the camera feed on the dark side.
