  1. BritishBenzene on

I saw this and Witchboard when I was way too young due to a babysitter who didn’t know when to say no to her boyfriend. My mom was upset when I said I couldn’t sleep because of the scary movie but really pissed when I said I also didn’t like the house the babysitter took me to. I assume it was the boyfriend or another friend’s house, but it was not something that had been discussed with my parents beforehand, so I didn’t have to worry about it happening again.

  2. I have loved this movie ever since I was a little kid in the 80s. I still have it on rotation and my wife hates it. It’s just such a comfort movie for me. Funny, not too scary, and backward record playing!

  3. Gotta say out of all the scary dreams I had as a kid, this movie showed up most. top tier movie.

  5. I watched this when I was too young and avoided holes in the ground for a good while. A couple years ago I saw it on streaming and gave it another watch, held up pretty well IMO.
