I’m an atheist. But something about this was just so quietly moving to me. Like this is a man of faith trying to understand the purpose of his faith. And also being thoughtful and having humility. I’ll always respect people like this. Unfortunately it feels like so many Christians in America are using Christianity as an excuse to be bigoted and hateful.

The Bible speaks a lot more about how lending money at interest “usury” is blasphemous than it ever does about homosexuality.
Yet you don’t see any goddamn church talking about outlawing the banks.
