I know somebody who works for Lucasfilm and when I asked her how this movie was coming along she definitely made a face lol

I wish there had been one sing;e moment in the preview I saw before Project Hail Mary that made this look better than ‘Solo…only with Mando and Baby Yoda this time.’ But there wasn’t.

Everyone is hating on this movie, which I respect (fuck Disney), but I’m not gonna lie: I saw the trailer in theaters and I was like, “Yeah I wanna see that.” I think most Star Wars films are bad, but they’re always, at a bare minimum, decently fun.
And most importantly, these movies always feature some great little guys. Even Rise of Skywalker, which I thought was atrocious, gave us Babu Frik, which made the whole thing worth it.

The slop is out of this world. So many things wrong in one image.

This should’ve went straight to Disney+ and they should’ve released the Ryan Gosling Starfighter movie in theaters this year.

Is this the way, though?!

All the new star wars stuff makes me a bit nauseous. I liked the force awakens actually. Then hated the next 2 installments.

Is it just me or are the two ships flying behind the Razor Crest just AT-ST heads with wings?

Unless the early reviews are incredible, i cant imagine this being anything other than a box office flop. The trailer didnt hook me in, and frankly i’ve forgotten how the third series ended (if that even matters)
The franchise itself still hasnt recovered from Episode 9, and similar to Solo, its not exactly a film people were crying out for.

It pisses me off that the font is wavy, but Star Wars is straight.

Star Trek went from small screen to big screen twice, and each time it felt like a big exciting evolution.
Firefly got cancelled and then got a thrilling cinematic conclusion, daring to go darker and nastier, and delivering some well deserved closure.
This feels like a shareholders wet dream. A nothing burger designed to milk fans of their hard earned cash. I feel contempt.

Another cynical marketing exercise to sell baby yoda toys.

We’re going to make a movie with the Mandalorian and Grogu. It’s called The Mandalorian and Grogu. Here is a picture of the Mandalorian and Grogu. The tagline is the famous line the Mandalorian always says when traveling with Grogu. Give us a billion dollars at the theaters and don’t cancel your Disney+!

I love Star Wars and I think the Mandalorian is great despite its missteps. However the marketing for this movie has been awful. This poster continues the trend and looks like ai slop.

I’ve got a really bad feeling about this.

As much as I’m not super enthusiastic about this movie, I’m infinitely more interested in Starfighter, I hope it does well financially, not necessarily like super successful since the Grogu craze has waned, but enough to have some confidence for future projects.
