All the Marvel Netflix shows had great opening credits. Even the ones I didn’t like at first grew on me.
[The Leftovers Season 2 & 3 opening](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLSH-81yT7s) is one of my all-time favorites. It perfectly communicates what the show is about in a beautiful way, and manages to be emotional and sad without being maudlin about it.
The new Apple series, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, has a creative & whimsical opening credits sequence.
Peacemaker. First time I saw it I was just, “What the heck is this?”
Twin Peaks may not fit the profile of most of these but if you skip the opening credits of any episode you risk not being in the right mood for it. It’s sort of meditative which is appropriate considering the guy David Lynch was.
Penny dreadfuls was always a favourite of mine
Mad Men is kind of hard to beat.

I always loved the graphics/footage and music of The Americans’ intro
I always liked The Sopranos opening. Great song.

Succession – That intro music is ear worm….
Succession’s opening credits always got me hyped to watch a billionaire family continually stab each other in the backs.
I didn’t think the visuals were anything special like the two shows you mentioned, but the theme song for Firefly fits the show perfect and I always watched it. Plus, it wasn’t overly long.

American Horror Story – I think they’re the best opening credits ever, changing with every new season. Unfortunately they stopped doing these.

Say what you want about Daredevil. But the opening of that is pretty dope.
