I’m so looking forward to this, Spielberg and Science Fiction have led to absolute classics previously, here’s hoping for this one 🙏🏻

We about to get real aliens before GTA6

Spielberg hasn’t made a good movie for years and is still riding on good will from decades ago.

Of course, that’s just a good phrase for hyping up your sci-fi film either way

He’s a legendary filmmaker, but he’s a bit gullible and he’s been believing that UFO nonsense for fifty years. And he seems to be believing lots of the rubbish from all the recent UFO nutjobs and grifters.
But if it got us films like Close Encounters, E.T., War of the Worlds, and this new Spielberg UFO film, I don’t mind that he drank the Flavor Aid.
(For those not aware, all the UFO nonsense that you’ve seen in Congress and The New York Times over the last few years is not because there is suddenly good evidence for UAP’s; it’s because rich true believers like billionaire [Robert Bigelow](https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-wealthy-ufo-fans-helped-fuel-fringe-beliefs/) and Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge have been pumping money and publicity into the topic and that sort of lobbying and influence unfortunately has an impact.)
