Lol, they just can’t help themselves. That said, Yahya Abdul-Mateen is superb and it’s a tv series, not a movie remake which would be even more unnecessary. So sure, whatever.

Based on very quick research it seems like a new adaptation of the original novel and its sequel, but given the synopsis I have found will depart significantly from the source material.

Tony Scotts frenetic style, a killer cast and the use of Nine Inch Nails made the last one so special. Scott was on fire.
