James Bond Casting Won’t Be Rushed Says Amazon MGM: A Responsibility We Don’t Take Lightly

  1. I don’t think you can ever win casting Bond, no one is ever happy (at least until the movie comes out). My main fear is the movie having the same generic ‘4k’, dull colour grade generic polished look every movie seems to have these days (though Denis Villeneuve has given me faith it won’t thankfully).
Can we also have on-location sets? Bond is supposed to give me the travel itch, and if its nothing but fuzzy cgi backgrounds i’ll get depressed.

It’s going to be Jeff Bezos, isn’t it?

He has the same initials & Amazon owns MGM…

I don’t think anyone will excuse them of rushing….

Daniel Craig was Bond for 15 years. He left 5 years ago and they haven’t even cast someone, let alone started filming.

MGM has the opportunity here to do the funniest thing. Cast Riz Ahmed, and complete the Bait circle!

Given the public domain is approaching, this is probably the last *Bond* before everyone jumps on it.

  6. I know I’m probably alone, but I think Alfie Allen would be a great new Bond. He was great in Rogue Heroes. We’ve had Blonde Bond and now it’s time for Ginger Bond. I think he’s interesting looking too, because he can look goofy but he can be pretty slick when he cleans up. That’s a dynamic we haven’t seen in Bond and personally they need something fresh to get me to watch, cause this is a tired franchise.

  7. Hoping for Robert Pattinson. Very suave as seen in Tenet, and can do badass action scenes as seen in the Batman. And has worked with Villenueve on Dune part 3. The perfect age too.

  8. I just really hope it’s not Callum Turner, he’s supposedly the frontrunner but he looks like a rodent and just doesn’t strike me as James Bond like several other suggestions, still disappointed Henry Cavill never got the role.

  9. I mean, it’ll never happen, but Jack Lowden or Richard Madden would both do well I think.

  10. Idris Elba would be phenomenal, with the added benefit of driving certain leaders of the free world crazy

  11. This story has been a story like 5 times now, it’s been 4 years since they got the IP just shut up and do it already
