I am very interested to see Tom Cruise in a potential awards role again for the first time in awhile. I could very easily see an overdue narrative for him coming through if he plays this role as well as expected

This movie has an insane cast, so stoked to check this out. Sounds hilarious and incredibly interesting

    Have you all seen Bardo?

I still haven’t but I heard that one was pretty off the wall. Though Iñárritu‘s movies often are.

This is an interesting combo of director and actor.

  4. I generally think Inarritu is a bit of a hack but I do love seeing Tom get weird with it so I’m not really sure what to make of this

Would definitely be wild to see Cruise follow up the honorary Oscar presented by Iñárritu with a competitive Oscar for all the reasons he was describing, lol.

Josh Duhamel told a story about Tom Cruise pitching himself for what I think is this movie:

[Tom Cruise and Fighting for Roles](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DL45SZjuo7U/)

Mixing movie stars, but that’s a great example of when Arnold Schwarzenegger said, “I always stay hungry, never satisfied with current accomplishments.”

A movie star at Tom Cruise’s level could just let roles come to him. But he’s on the lookout for good scripts and will cold-call a director he’s never met to open a new relationship. That is hustle.

When Josh talks about “offer only,” at first I thought that meant a star will only read a script if there’s a money offer attached. “Studio X is offering you $20 million to star in an action film with this hot music video director.”

But when I googled it, I got a different definition:

    >Offer only is the term used to describe an actor who will only consider a role if it’s offered outright.

    >That means no auditions, no callbacks, and no [screen] tests.
