  1. I wonder if that New York scene is a dream sequence?Seems to be the original design from minus one instead of the new look

I’ll be disappointed if Godzilla doesn’t hurl the Statue of Liberty into Manhattan with all the hate in the world

    Damn, he got fucking **CHONKY!**

Seeing him rampage through New York should be a treat.

    >GODZILLA MINUS ZERO picks up in 1949, two years after the tumultuous events of Godzilla Minus One, and continues the story of the Shikishima family as they face an all-new calamity. Additionally confirmed out of CinemaCon, Ryunosuke Kamiki, the hero who faced Godzilla’s terror in Godzilla Minus One, returns as Koichi Shikishima, and is joined by Minami Hamabe as Noriko Oishi, who miraculously survived Godzilla’s first attack on Tokyo.

    >As a project Filmed For IMAX, GODZILLA MINUS ZERO was shot with high-definition digital cameras certified by IMAX, and optimized in sound and imagery unique to IMAX screens. Fans can look forward to seeing Godzilla presented to all new terrifying heights, making GODZILLA MINUS ZERO in a true cinematic event not to be missed.

  9. I can’t wait to watch this in a 4D theater like I did the first one, that was an experience.

  10. This looks good. When I heard sequel, I was hoping for some 1960’s Tokyo setting but setting it closely after the first one makes sense. If they keep the plot focused on compelling people stories it should be good.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Godzilla Minus One. The next is gonna be Godzilla Minus Zero.

I like what I see so far.

I think/hope the director can manage the American/English scenes well enough.

…are there two Godzilla’s? The one at the end not having the same spikes as the one from the water makes it seem like all hell is about to break loose. Imagine each chunk started regrowing as its own Godzilla…

  14. Awesome . Awaiting this more than Avengers and Dune . This seems it’s will be attacking the US as well

  15. I was NOT expecting Godzilla in America. Not a bad idea strategizing on how big the first one was here

WHAT?! They made a Minus One sequel??

i LOVED Minus One, it was the best movie I saw in 2023. I hope they don’t go too silly for the sequel, cause the war trauma of the first one was the best part.

  17. I am really curious what this story is about, some crazy buildings floating and Godzilla in New York? Sign me up.

  18. Media-critique on

Wow…. So, TOHO basically gave Takashi a blank check and said “go for it.”

  19. The Tv show MONARCH started of so well this season but its all talk and boring now, hopefully this movie is better…yeah i also think its Ghidorah

  20. Looked good until that last shot.

Also “a new threat approaches”? it’s Godzilla ya? Or is this “Godzilla Cousin”

  21. SupervillainMustache on

    Absolutely love Minus One.

As much as I have enjoyed the spectacle of the MonsterVerse films, I’ve never been able to care about the human characters like I did with Shikishima in Minus One

this is the kind of trailer that makes me feel something before I even understand why 😭 I remember watching a random monster movie once just for fun and somehow ended up way more emotionally invested than I expected… like it wasn’t even about the monster anymore, it was everything around it. ever since then I lowkey go into these expecting to feel something deeper than just action and it always catches me off guard lol
