I keep thinking about this movie and especially the ending. Without the context it might look like a wonderful celebration of life, but obviously there’s more to it.

Such a great movie, my favorite Vinterberg. All 3 movies I’ve seen from him are fantastic, though.
that final scene hits differently, man. the mix of joy and sadness is just so powerful—definitely one of those moments that sticks with you.
What a beautiful life-affirming film. If it were eligible to be up for Best Picture that year, that would have been my pick
