I’ve been saying that I’m surprised that, even with the limited theatrical run, distributors are letting them run it on YouTube for free after only two weeks. I really hope they don’t take this thing’s probably massive success as a sign that movies should go to steaming after only a couple days in theaters.

It’s interesting how Glitch insisted on a weekend release when the theaters offered a month, it’s a bit surprising.
I fucking called it that they had the two week gap built in for a reason and it was apparently for an extension if weekend 1 was a success. Which by all accounts it is. To give everyone a perspective as to how much it’s making now, it took Iron Lung a month to get to $900k in presales at least from AMC. Digital Circus crossed that $900k threshold in 24 hours.
