Gotta pay Tom Holland, Zendaya and the other A list actors in Sony produced movies their millions!! To those who down voted, these layoffs could have been avoided if all A list actors were paid reasonable salaries instead of millions for a few months’ work.

They have Spider-Man and Jumanji both coming out this year that together will likely net $2.5-$3 billion between them. Fuck these greedy corporate hacks.
TV/Film industry is racing to catch up to the video game industry’s strategy of firing everyone and only making like 5 new things a year (at least at the top level/big budget products)

I’m confused, I was told that we were adding jobs, not laying off massive amounts of individuals across several markets.
Corporate greed is actively ruining the world for everyone and it just keeps coming and coming. Fuck.

Cutting hundreds of jobs? That should definitely help the creative morale they’re always bragging about in the press releases.
This better not screw with the K Pop Demon Hunters sequel. I would also like for nobody to fall into poverty as a result of this decision but that is a far broader issue than Sony.
